Snow Bud is a robust, Sativa-leaning hybrid from Dutch Passion, bred from an Afghan Indica and a South African Sativa. Developed over several generations in mountain conditions, it is built to handle cold, humid and changeable weather, making it a strong choice for growers in high-altitude areas as well as at sea level. This feminised seed is best suited to outdoor cultivation but also performs well in greenhouses and indoor setups under artificial light. Plants are forgiving and tolerant of beginner mistakes, and they typically grow to around two metres tall with long branches. The buds are long, dense and covered in white hairs and trichomes, giving them their snowy look. Aroma and flavour are spicy and skunky with earthy and piney notes, and some smokers detect sweet hints, cinnamon or honey. The effect is a clear, energetic head high with only mild physical relaxation, well suited to daytime or early evening use. Flowering takes roughly seven to nine weeks.
