Mastodon Kush is a strongly indica-leaning line that brings together Master Kush and Pre '98 Bubba Kush. Growers can expect compact, heavy flowers with resin coating the stems from top to bottom, which gives it obvious appeal for those interested in hash production. Its broad leaves encourage a spreading yet low profile, so topping and a sea-of-green approach are worth considering. The lower buds can also grow surprisingly full, so it pays to give them good light. On the palate, expect a peppery sweetness layered over a traditional Kush note. Flowering runs roughly eight to nine weeks, with harvest typically falling in late September. Available in both feminised and regular seed options, this strain suits growers looking for a clear indica character and a resinous, flavourful crop.
