Lemon Z is a feminised photoperiod hybrid from Dutch Passion with a sativa-leaning look and a bright, citrus-led character. It combines an older winning Lemon Z line with Lemon Tree genetics, which has helped the plants flower a little more steadily and quickly. Expect a fresh blend of lemon, lime and sweet-sour notes, with hints of pine and eucalyptus. The buds are relatively compact, dense and coated in a thick layer of resin. The THC level is high, typically around 20 per cent and sometimes higher. Growers will find the plant fairly forgiving, with an open structure that suits training methods such as SCROG, LST and HST. Flowering takes around nine weeks, and the plant can produce a generous yield indoors, where it performs well, while it can also be grown in greenhouses or outdoors in warmer, drier climates. It is a lively, uplifting strain with a long-lasting feel.
