Lemon Diesel is a mostly indica hybrid built on an OG foundation, with roughly seventy percent indica and thirty percent sativa in its makeup. Its lineage traces back to a Pakistani, Lemon Thai and Chemdawg #4 cross, later bred into a California Sour line. The aroma leans heavily towards fuel and diesel, with lemony, peppery and fruity notes running underneath. Plants tend to form several strong main colas, which can be useful where space is tight, and they respond well to both sea of green and SCROG setups. Expect a slow, creeping high that settles the body and calms the mind, leaving room for focus or an easy wind-down. Flowering takes around nine to ten weeks, with the buds filling out noticeably in the final stretch. Yields and plant quality are rated medium to high whether grown indoors or outside, and the strain reached the Top Ten at the 2010 Emerald Cup.
