Colossus is a feminised strain from ACE Seeds, built around a sativa-leaning profile of roughly four parts sativa to one part indica. It traces back to a cross of Golden Tiger and A5 Haze, and the Thai influence the breeder links to that background gives it a distinctive character. Growers can look forward to a citrus-toned fragrance and a head-focused high that is potent and holds its course for a good while. Flowering indoors runs about eleven to thirteen weeks. The two phenotypes differ: one is a touch tighter in habit, forming large, compact colas with plenty of bud relative to leaf, while the other is closer to pure sativa and grows with a more untamed shape. Suited to indoor rooms and outdoor plots alike, it is recommended for latitudes between the equator and 43 degrees, with outdoor harvests typically arriving in early November. Plants can reach around four metres square when grown outside. Indoors it is manageable for growers with sativa experience, and the breeder rates its resistance to several pests, moulds and weather extremes as average to high.
