Cherry OG is an F1 cross that blends two distinct parents into a tasty, potent hybrid. The Cherry Thai was first crossed with an old Afghan for density and finish, then repeatedly back-crossed to restore its signature flavours and uplifting character. That line was then crossed with Lost Coast OG to add potency and a sharp, sour edge. Growth is vigorous in the vegetative stage, and plants respond well to steady feeding of nitrogen, calcium and magnesium to support a strong green finish. The flowering period runs for around ten weeks, and the buds are dense and medium-sized with plenty of resin. Stem buds are well suited to producing rich, flavourful extracts. Expect a range of aromas, from sweet cherry to an almost sour diesel character, thanks to the Chemdawg influence. The effects are described as clear and uplifting, with the relaxing body feel associated with classic Kush strains, making it a good choice for a relaxed day out.
