Chem OG is a feminised cannabis seed with a predominantly indica character, bred by crossing a chosen Chemdog selection with a strong OG Kush line to bring together strengths from both sides. The plants are sturdy, reaching up to around 2.5 metres, and build a single dominant top cola flanked by a handful of side branches. Growers find it forgiving, and it copes well with heavy feeding while adapting neatly to the SCROG netting method. Indoors it finishes in roughly eight to nine weeks, producing compact, firm flowers wrapped in puffy popcorn-style calyxes and bright orange hairs. Outdoor plants can grow to 150 to 250 cm. The bouquet is strong yet refined, showing lemon, soil, pine and spicy diesel tones. Its effect is described as uplifting at first, then settling into a calm, relaxed feeling with a psychedelic edge. The flowers carry a heavy coat of trichomes, which makes them a promising choice for quality resin production.
