This feminised offering from Barney's Farm carries the AK name and traces its heritage to Mexican, Colombian, Thai and Afghan genetics. Its make-up leans towards the sativa side, at roughly seven parts sativa to three parts indica. The breeder lists THC at around 26 per cent. Plants flower in roughly eight to nine weeks and are suited to both indoor and outdoor growing. Aromas are pungent and citrusy with an earthy base, and the flavour profile brings citrus, earthy and spicy notes to the fore. The listed effects are cerebral, euphoric and soothing. Indoors, the breeder states a yield of about 500 g per square metre, with plants reaching 100 to 140 cm. Outdoors, plants can grow between 120 and 160 cm, and yields of up to 650 g per plant are listed, with harvest in the second or third week of October. A good fit for growers who want a flavourful, characterful plant.
